Through the generosity of Drs. Anthony and Joyce Kales, John L. Prokop and Freda Prokop-Vladyka, the Papoutsis family, the Zozos family, AHEPA, Philoptochos, Syllogos Neohoriton, the Evrytanian Association and numerous other parishioners and organizations, we are able to offer generous scholarships to our youth. 

AHEPA Chapter #64 and District 4 Scholarships - The AHEPA Merit Scholarships are awarded to a graduating high school senior entering an accredited college or university. Three Hierarchs Scholarship - Awarded by the Three Hierarchs Scholarship Endowment Fund to graduating high school seniors with superior academic achievement. Contact: John Harbilas, Email johnharbilas@gmail.com        


Neohoriton Syllogos Scholarship – Awarded to graduating high school seniors of Nehoriton heritage for superior academic performance.  Contact: Panagiota A. Rouvalis H.717.776.3001   pasimakaki@gmail.com


Philoptochos Society – The Eleftheria Zozos Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating female high school senior for meritorious service to Church and the Civic Community.

Agios Taxiarhis Evrytanian Association Scholarship This is a need based scholarship that will be awarded to deserving high school seniors, college and graduate school students whose parents are members of the local Evrytanian Association “Velouchi” Chapter 18 Contact: Vicki Keriazes | Email:vicki.keriazes@gmail.com

 

THE PAPOUTSIS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP:  The A.V. Papoutsis Family Hellenic Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 by Mr. Andrew V. Papoutsis in memory of his parents, Vasilios and Demetra Papoutsis, to recognize and support academic and vocational achievement among our young parishioners.  Questions may be directed to Jamie Papoutsis Rockmore at jamiepapoutsis@yahoo.com 
 
The Nicholas G. Gekas Memorial Scholarship:

Nick was a man of great faith serving as Parish Council Member and President overseeing the construction of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Camp Hill.  Nick was a leading promoter of education in our Community.  He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and went on to earn a Master’s Degree from Temple University.  Nick was committed to his community and education, serving as President of the Harrisburg Academy, President of the Susquehanna Township School Board and President of the Dauphin County Vo-Tech.
